Mission Statement

St. John's Parish aims to :

grow spiritually;
understand our faith better;
develop as a community;
be equipped for ministry.

So that we may glorify God by:

encouraging and promoting family life;
promoting opportunities for ministry through our relationship with St. John's College;
using our freedom from ownership of buildings to explore opportunities for ministry and funding in the depressed areas;
retaining and developing our relationship with Mother Teresa's and St. Christopher's and initiating other projects as opportunities arise.

Directions

From Houghton Drive, turn up Munroe Drive. At the top you will be in Elm Street. One block before Louis Botha turn right into St. John Road.
From Louis Botha (2 blocks east of the bridge over Joe Slovo / Harrow Road) turn left into Elm Street, and first left into St. John's Road. Towards the end of that block, in St. John's Road, turn right into the main entrance to St. John's College. Ask directions to the Crypt Chapel
