I sing a song
bringing to you the voices of my sisters
believing that we can re-call
our full humanity.
I see words ribboning from your mouth
when wind ruffles clouds in the heavens
and know whatever our beliefs
you will call our names, one by one
and give us wisdom
know our integrity
feel the warmth of our love
as it opens the hearts of those
who would anger and harm.
We know it is through you
Oh Holy One
who gentles the hearts of those who seek to destroy us
who gifts us the love we seek in this world of harshness and
cruelty.
I sing my song to you
for the women in this beautiful creation of yours
call us in the dancing of the leaves
in the shadow of the moon
in the silver of the stars
in the gilding of the sun
let us dance the circle of life
believing that we will
through you
fill this world with a loving so great
that all will be healed is a cascade of benedictions.
