www.thebody.com is an AIDS and HIV information resource. It has over 550 topic areas including AIDS basics and prevention, Just Diagnosed, Treatment, Quality of life, Policy & Activism, Conferences.
Love Life is a hard-hitting campain aimed at youth. It may be secular but talks the talk of the section of society that is arguably most at risk. Does the Church know how to talk the talk?
The Metropolitan site is at http://www.redribbon.co.za and from there you can follow link to the on-line HIV test. This page gives access to a wealth of information about the disease, research, nutrition - and read the parental warning before opting to take the test.
The Church Alive Assemblies of God, Nortcliff has a good page of information, contact numbers in South Africa and links to resources on the Web. This link to their AIDS Ministry page will open in a new browser window and from there you can access the rest of their site.
The Health-e website covers a wide range of medical issues. There is a section on HIV. There are regular articles and you can sign up to receive information via e-mail. Well worth signing up!
The home page of the University of Natal often carries articles about HIV/AIDS.
