A letter written in the 3rd century reads:-
"It's a bad world, Donatus, an incredibly bad world.  But I have discovered in the midst of it a quiet and peaceable people who have found a great secret. They have found a joy and a peace a thousand times better than any of the pleasures of this sinful world. They are despised and persecuted, but they care not. They have overcome the world. These people, Donatus, are Christians, and I am one of them."
As you visit this website, may you find in its pages, the signs of a quiet and peaceable people - a people who have found a joy and a peace such as the world cannot give. In these pages, written by Christians, may you find the presence of Christ. And may you be enriched and blessed in that encounter.
